Apple Crumble Flatbread
Buttery, flatbread topped with juicy caramelized apples, cinnamon-sugar crumble, sweet vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce!

Ingredients
Apple Mixture
  • 2medium red applesRecommend Fuji or gala
  • 1/4cup brown sugar
  • 1teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2tablespoons butter
Crumble
  • 2tablespoons butter
  • 1/4cup brown sugar
  • 1/4cup rolled oats or granola
  • 2 1/2teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 

  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment and lightly spray cooking spray.

  3. Core, peel, seed, and thinly slice your apples. 

  4. Combine apples, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a medium pan and cook over medium heat for 5-8 minutes until apples are very tender and sauce is caramelized. Remove from heat.

  5. Mix up the crumb topping while the apple mix is cooking. In a small-medium bowl combine brown sugar, flour, oats, and cinnamon. Then mash it up with the butter thoroughly. 

  6. Place flatbreads on baking sheet. 

  7. Top flatbreads with apple-caramel mixture.

  8. Sprinkle crumb topping over the apple mixture. Bake for 5-10 minutes until apple-caramel mixture is bubbly and thick. 

  9. Serve up warm.  Top with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
